Fierce Alpha - The Value Of Having A Mentor

The Value Of Having A Mentor

Having a mentor is invaluable. A mentor doesn’t necessarily have to be someone that you meet in person. Because of the internet, it gives us the liberty of learning from anyone at anytime. A mentor is simply someone that you learn from. Someone who has years of experience regarding a certain topic that can help educate you and make you become better.

Over the course of my lifetime so far, I’ve had 3 men that I would consider to be my mentors. The first was Victor Pride from the blog Bold & Determined. The second was M from The33Secrets YouTube channel. And the third was Dr. Charles Stanley from Intouch Ministries. These 3 men taught me so much about life and business, dating, and faith.

And I recommend that you find your own mentors. Someone who can teach you a lot. It depends on what your goals are. You can find mentors from certain blogs and YouTube channels. And then just learn from them. Victor Pride taught me the importance of learning from everyone. I even learn from people that I don’t like. I learn from everyone, like a sponge.

Having a mentor will help you to get ahead far faster and better than your peers. If you want to build a business, you need a mentor, and virtually everyone who ever succeeded in business usually had a mentor first. Someone who shown them the ropes. Some people pay for mentors. Other people learn for free online. It’s your choice. But you need one.

So try and find a mentor today. If you’re into coding, try find a YouTube guru. If you want to build a business, try finding a mentor on Instagram. And if you want to develop your faith, try finding a pastor. Whatever your goals are, there’s a mentor for one.
